This is the day Moe, Curly and Larry were seized by the sheriff.  They had not been shorn in years, covered in skin infections and full of parasites. They have since been rehabilitated and live happily here at the sanctuary. Know that your donation will continue towards their lifetime of care and needs for these lucky sheep.

These Battery Cage Hens were rescued from being shipped to slaughter at the age of 3 years old. They spent their short lives cooped up in a small cage, lights on 24 hours a day, covered in excrement and parasites. They now are recovering and learning how to be happy hens,  taking dust baths and eating bugs.
