Group Volunteer Opportunities

COVID-19 Restrictions 

Black Dawg Farm and Sanctuary and Solace Equine Academy Program remain committed to the safety and well-being of our participants, volunteers and staff. Our plans comply with all Thurston County policies and State of Washington  guidelines for businesses providing outdoor recreational activities.  

Thurston County, Phase 3

• All participants and volunteers are working at BDFS.
• Tours available at Black Dawg Farm and Sanctuary, honoring State/County mandates. Limit of 10 people or less. 
• Social distancing of 6 feet between people required. 
• Masks are mandatory in enclosed premises.
• Anyone that who is ill or has a suspected elevated temperature, please stay home.

Services are subject to change at any time should community conditions, hospital or state policies warrant. Social distancing and masks will remain in effect until further notice.

Group volunteer activities are an exciting way to support Black Dawg Farm and Sanctuary and build team camaraderie!

There are a variety of ways your group can volunteer with BDFS:

• Landscape/Gardening
• Painting
• Holiday Decorating
• Event Support

All group members must be 14 years of age or older. Youth groups require a 10:1 student-to-adult ratio.

For project planning purposes, please reach out to book your team at least 30 days in advance.
